Beth Postle was born and bred in Wolverhampton in the West Midlands. At eighteen years old Postle moved to London to commence a foundation course at Central Saint Martins with a focus on illustration. She discovered a way to co-ordinate her illustrative style to fashion and textiles and went on to complete the BA Fashion Print Course at Central Saint Martins with a first class honours, after a placement year working for a broad range of designers including Diane von Furstenberg, Jeremy Scott, Ashish and her sister, Jenny Postle's, joint knitwear brand Leutton Postle.
After graduating, Postle was approached by London concept store MACHINE-A to sell wearable versions of her portraiture-based catwalk pieces in store as part of their annual graduate scheme to support rising design talent. Her collection sold out.
After having recieved a scholarship from J. Crew, Postle has since gone on to study the MA at Central Saint Martins and create her A/W 15 collection.
