Chris Crites is a painter and curator, represented by the Jack Fischer Gallery, San Francisco. Born in California, 1972, he studied for his BA in Art General Studio Practice at San Jose State University, San Jose, California; and for his AA in Technical Arts/Graphics at the College of San Mateo, San Mateo, California. He is recipient of the PONCHO: IFA Artistic Merit Award, 2008.
Crites has exhibited his work in recent solo shows: 'Arrested Moments', 360SEE, Chicago, Illinois, 2010; 'America', Ampersand, Portland, Oregon, 2009; and 'Busted', PULP, Omaha, New England, 2009.
