Coach
Brand
Founded in 1941, Coach started as a family-run workshop in the heart of Manhattan. A small group of artisans worked to create a collection of leather goods, leading the Coach brand to become known for handcrafted, high-quality accessories. Since then the New York-based label has expanded globally, but remains focused on its American heritage. It offers ready-to-wear, accessories, bags and footwear.
In 1996 Reed Krakoff was appointed Creative Director. Krakoff's design transformed Coach from the relatively small company that it was in 1985 into the worldwide brand it is today
In 2013 Stuart Vevers was announced as the Creative Director for Coach, and in 2017 Vevers won the CFDA Accessory Designer of the Year award for his work there.
