Comme des Garçons is a Japanese brand founded by Rei Kawakubo, which translates from the French meaning 'like the boys'. Kawakubo founded the brand in 1969, and since then, it has grown to be one of the most avant-garde and conceptual brands in the fashion industry.

Comme des Garçons and their menswear line Comme des Garçons Homme Plus show at Paris Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week Men's each season. They now have stores around the globe with their flagship store in Aoyama in Japan, as well the Dover Street Market stores in London, New York, Singapore, Ginza and Beijing.

Comme des Garçons have worked on many other creative ventures including collaborations with the likes of H&M, Supreme, Levi's and Louis Vuitton, as well as launching fragrances and accessories. They have also created exhibitions showcasing the archive of the brand for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York (2017), Shinjuku in Tokyo (2005) and the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris (1986).
