Danielle Neu is an artist currently residing in East Hollywood, Los Angeles. She graduated from Bard College in 2009 with a Baccalaureate in Fine Arts. She then moved to New York City and worked for the seminal video art archive, Electronic Arts Intermix. Working with video, film, and sound, she most recently served as a researcher for the Metropolitan Museum exhibition, PUNK: Chaos to Couture. Currently she assists Nick Knight on various projects. Before this, she also spent three years as a sign painter and hand letterer.

The sounds of electric guitar and howling voices play as muses in her paintings, writing, and work. Her love of moving images comes from wandering Hollywood Boulevard, and witnessing the ghosts of the past in revival movie houses.
