Gillian McCusker studied Fine Art at Loughborough University. Since graduating she travelled extensively, experiencing numerous styles of art in various cultures, influencing and incorporating this into her work. She worked as a freelance artist from her Southwark based studio working on illustrations for children's books and participating in exhibitions both in London and Milan. McCusker previously worked at SHOWstudio as the gallery intern, but now works in marketing.
