House of Holland

Fashion Designer

House of Holland was a London-based fashion label by Henry Holland. Established in 2008, the brand was initially born from an idea for a graphic T-shirt Holland made for his friend and designer Gareth Pugh emblazoned with the rhyming couplet ‘UHU Gareth Pugh'. The early designs referenced slogan tees of the eighties and featured rhymes about fashion figures such as Giles Deacon and Naomi Campbell. In 2008, after two seasons showing with the initiative Fashion East, House of Holland held its first solo show on the main London Fashion Week schedule, developing into full collections full of colourful and graphic designs.

The label was stocked in Browns Focus, Net-A-Porter, Colette, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and Opening Ceremony. In April 2020, it was announced that House of Holland would close following financial challenges.
