Ingrid Mwangi and Robert Hutter live and work as an art collective producing video and performance pieces. Born in Nairobi, Kenya and Ludwigshafen, Germany respectively, the pair went on to pursue their studies in new artistic media at Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar in Saarbrücken and sculpture and painting at Alanus, Freie Hochschule für Musische und Bildende Künste in Bonn.

They exhibit their work under the joint name IngridMwangiRobertHutter, or alternatively Mwangi Hutter. This step expresses their underlying artistic message that deals with overcoming gender, social and cultural differences.  

IngridMwangiRobertHutter have had solo exhibitions at locations such as Spelman College Museum of Fine Art and Geothe Institute, as well as partaken in group exhibitions at Impasse Bonsecours and KuK Monschau. They currently live and work in Ludwigshafen and Nairobi.
