Jane Shepherdson is a fashion businesswoman. She is also the non-executive director for Peopletree Fair Trade Fashion and creative advisor for Oxfam.

She was brand director at Topshop from 1999 to 2007. During her time there, she repositioned an average high street teenage market-aimed brand to a design-led global label through a focused strategy of design authority and creative investment in the store portfolio. Shepherdseon then moved to Whistles in 2008, becoming CEO and was responsible for repositioning the brand until she left in 2016.

Shepherdson has also established extensive sponsorship programmes for students and fledgling designers. She has been involved in the promotion and support of young designers in London through the London College of Fashion’s Centre of Fashion Excellence, On/Off and Vauxhall Fashion Scout. Shepherson is also involved in various consultancy projects in the UK and Australia. As creative advisor at Oxfam, where she manages store designs, as well as handling product sourcing and marketing, Shepherdson works on global fashion related projects and fundraising initiatives.

A member of the British Fashion Council, Shepherdson also sits on various advisory boards and has achieved industry recognition for her work in fashion retail services. In February 2006, she was appointed Member of the British Empire for services to fashion retail and was awarded with an honorary doctorate from the University of the Arts London, where she is a visiting professor, in December 2011. In 2015, she was awarded Commander of the British Empire.

In 2019, she became chairman of rental fashion start-up My Wardrobe HQ.
