Jonh Ingham has been helping create the future since 1976, when he wrote the first interview with The Sex Pistols. He spent the year championing them, The Clash, The Damned, The Buzzcocks and others, helping to make sure Punk became a dominant music force.
Moving to Hollywood, he directed filmgraphic TV commercials, also finding time to invent The Fake Club, a weekly pop-up dance club and pioneer the concept of video-deejays at Revolver in West Hollywood. He also managed Billy Idol, The Go-Go’s, and The Plugz.
In Tokyo, Ingham produced marketing and CD-ROMs for Pioneer Japan and created his first Internet content in 1994 while working with visionary musician Peter Gabriel. In 2000, he created and developed Europe's first commercial mobile content service in Ibiza.
For the last 12 years, Ingham has been Content Director at mobile operator O2 and devising and building internet and mobile services in London, Poland, Germany and Saudi Arabia.
He is currently writing and producing ‘Spirit of 76: London Punk Eyewitness’, a book of his 1976 Punk photography.
