Karyofyllia Karabeti is an actress and graduate of the National Theater of Northern Greece Drama School. She has been in numerous performances, including playing Arkadina in Chekhov’s The Seagull-Arkadina, Atossa in Aeschylus’ The Persians and Petra in Fassbinder’s The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant.

Between November 1997 and July 1999, she participated in a National Theater grand world tour through Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, China and Japan, playing Euripides’ Medea and Sophocles’ Electra. In 2007, again with the National Theater, she played Clytemnestra in Sophocles’ Electra, in Seoul and New York.

Aside from theatrical performances, she has participated in TV series including: 10th Commandment, The Last Show, The Ailing and the Travelers, Red Circle, Love One Day Late, Last Goodbye, Hair Dyed Red, and The Yellow Envelope; and films including: Electra, Mikes On, Bachelor, Blackout, Free Dive, The Passage, The Bee Keeper, and Odysseus’ Love.
