Phillipa Brown, professionally known as Ladyhawke, is a singer-songwriter and instrumentalist from New Zealand. Brown began her career as part of the band Top Lane Blacktop, before going on to form Teenager with musician Nick Littlmore. After assuming the stage name Ladyhawke, Brown went to achieve commercial success with hit singles Paris is Burning and My Delirium. Her self-titled debut album, released in 2008, topped the RIANZ Albums Chart and won her Breakthrough Artist at the ARIA Music Awards in 2009. Other projects include a collaboration with Beck's beer, for whom she designed music-inspired art labels for limited edition bottles, as well as musical collaborations with artists including The Charlatans' Tim Burgess and New Zealand singer Nik Brinkman.

Brown's second solo album, Anxiety, was released in May 2012, and her third solo album, Wild Things, was released on 3 June 2016.
