Lusha Alic

Photographer

Born in Slovenia, Lucia Alic moved to London at that the age of 18. At 19, she enrolled at the London College of Fashion, graduated three years later from Fashion Photography and participated in the Mastered Photography course with Nick Knight. Currently residing in the city full time as a filmmaker and photographer, Alic is an embodiment of her work.

Exploring themes of sensuality, the unfamiliar qualities of the human form and her interest in 'otherness', Alic's work is dark, sensual; whilst also displaying an appreciation of the female form that stands for freedom and self-expression.

By 24, her work had been featured in publications such as Vogue Italia, i-D and Dazed, and exhibited at the first Photo Vogue Festival and The Many Faces of Photo Vogue exhibition in Milan, having photographed Tyler the Creator and Luka Sabbatt for Yoho Boy. Often using digital and film, Alic’s body of work combines her raw aesthetic with a sense of mystery and sensuality.
