Martine Rose is a British-Jamaican fashion designer, founder of her eponymous label. The brand began as a menswear shirting label, showcasing a debut collection of 10 shirts at Black private members club in Soho in 2007. Rose's designs were supported by Fashion East for an installation at the first menswear day on the London Fashion Week schedule, and subsequently she received NewGen sponsorship from the British Fashion Council.

Martine Rose went on to show her S/S 13 collection at the first London Collections: Mens show and has received press attention across the globe as well as picking up stockists in the US, Europe and Asia. Rose has also consulted on menswear for Balenciaga during Demna Gvasalia's tenure as creative director.

Rose has collaborated with a number of industry figures, brands and institutions, including: Wallpaper*, Timberland, Ligne Roset, CAT and boutique department store Browns. She has worked closely with Max Pearmain, editor and chief of Arena Homme Plus and co-founder of fashion label Symonds Pearmain, as well as Tyrone Lebon and Poppy Bartlett who co-designed and built the set for her A/W 13 presentation.
