Martino Nicoletti

Martino Nicoletti is a multimedia artist, writer and visual anthropologist, and has been engaged for over twenty years in anthropology and visual arts in southern and south-eastern Asia. He is the author of numerous books on the religions of the Himalayas, multimedia publications, photographic volumes and literary works. Nicoletti's artworks have been displayed in collective and solo exhibitions in Europe, Asia and the US, and his multimedia books include Nicoletti M. (2013), The Zoo of the Giraffe Women, Kathmandu: Vajra Publications.

Previously Senior Lecturer in Fine Art Photography at the University of Derby, Nicoletti left the academic world in 2015 and dedicated himself to practicing and teaching Dynamic Body Awareness, a psychophysical method created by Martino himself and currently taught in France and Asia.
