Toronto-born fashion designer Nicolas Andreas Taralis studied at Parsons in New York in 1993, and two years later studied under Helmut Lang at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. He assisted Hedi Slimane for Dior Homme in 2000, before going off to establish his own womenswear line in 2003. Three years later he made his debut in Paris showing his A/W 06/07 collection. In 2006, Taralis took on his newly appointed role as artistic director for Cerruti, and relaunched his eponymous label in 2008.
