Penny Tu
Filmmaker
Penny Tu is an imagemaker and set designer. Tu was born in Taiwan and moved to Vancouver, Canada at age 16 to gain a Bachelor's degree in Business. She then relocated to London in 2009, to pursue her creative interests in fashion and image-making and graduated from the London College of Fashion in 2012 with a degree in Fashion Photography and Styling.
Over the years, Tu has completing numerous design internships, including at Polo Ralph Lauren and Alexander McQueen. Since 2011, she has been working as a freelancer for SHOWstudio, helping fashion photographer Nick Knight shoot multiple films.
Now based in Stockholm, Tu currently works for the photographer and set designer Carl Kleiner, while frequently flying back to London for her own film projects.
