Robert Pattinson is a London-born actor. Pattinson’s career in film began in 2005 when he played the role of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Following this, Pattinson went on to play the lead role of Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga (2008-2012).
Despite starting his career playing romantic lead roles, Pattinson has since gone on to select unconventional roles in independent films. Notable roles include working with David Cronenberg on Cosmopolis (2012) and Maps to the Stars (2014), the Safdie Brothers on Good Time (2017), Clare Denis on High Life (2018), and Robert Eggers on The Lighthouse (2019).
Pattinson has also been successful in the fashion world, modelling since the age of 12. Throughout his modelling career, Pattinson has been photographed by the likes of Nan Goldin, Karl Lagerfeld and Peter Lindbergh. In 2013, Pattinson was signed as the face of Dior Homme.
