Victoria Broackes

Victoria Broackes is a curator and exhibition maker, currently director of the London Design Biennale. Before that, she was Head of Exhibitions for the V&A Department of Theatre & Performance, and Head of Festival for the London Design Festival at the V&A.

Broackes was co-curator of David Bowie Is (2013), the fastest-selling exhibition in the V&A museum’s history, and has developed several other popular music displays for the V&A, from Kylie: The Exhibition (2007) to The Story of the Supremes (2008) and The House of Annie Lennox (2011). She was the editor of the V&A publication David Bowie Is, which accompanied the exhibition. 

In 2019, she was appointed director of the London Design Biennale.
