Agnès B.

Fashion Designer

Eponymous label Agnès B. was founded in 1981 by Agnès Andrée Marguerite Troublé in Paris, after the womenswear designer began experimenting with menswear. In 1979, the designer had developed the now iconic snap cardigan, made from a cut up white sweatshirt. It soon became a staple of the Agnès B ethos of liveable clothes reflecting a harmonious state of mind. The label now also includes menswear, childrenswear, luggage and leather goods and licensed products such as perfumes, eyewear and watches.

Their first international store was opened in 1983 in New York. Agnès B. is now stocked globally, from London to Tokyo.
