Aimee Parrott

Artist

Aimée Parrott is a visual artist who lives and works in London. Parrott graduated with a postgraduate diploma from the Royal Academy Schools in 2014 and completed a BA degree in Fine Art at University College Falmouth in 2009. Her practice spans painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture, which Parrott combines with techniques more traditionally associated with craft to create works that explore her relationship with time, memory, touch and trace. As well as exhibiting commercially her work has been shown at galleries including the Royal Academy, the Pippy Houldsworth Gallery and as part of the Manchester Contemporary Art Fair.

In 2016, Parrott created a mural for the women's space at the Phoenix Unit at Springfield University Hospital in Tooting as part of the Hospital Rooms project. In 2019 she curated All That the Rain Promises and More..., a group show for Edinburgh Arts Festival, hosted by Arusha Gallery, Edinburgh.
