Alina Zamanova is a Ukrainian artist and fashion illustrator who graduated with a BA in Fashion Illustration in 2015. She explores the gap between art and fashion, working to erase the boundaries between ugliness and beauty. She works in a mixed media technique, using acrylic, pastels, oil on canvas and paper, with her art including paintings, ceramic objects and art direction. In 2014, Zamanova worked at Alexander McQueen, which contributed to her works becoming more refined and gothic in their aesthetic. Zamanova's colourful and 'ugly' illustrations represent her dreams, ideas and the people who inspire her.
Zamanova's work has been displayed at numerous exhibitions across the world, including the Raum Gallery in Hamburg, The Art Vacancy Gallery in New York City, Somerset House and SHOWstudio in London .
