Barbara Grispini is a brand strategy and marketing specialist in fashion. In 2011, Grispini founded D /ARK [De Ark], a dynamic 360º brand development agency, which she directs. The agency specialises in cross platform strategic marketing, communication and distribution while also runs D /ARK /CONCEPT, a pioneering platform spanning across installation space, commercial wholesale showroom and in stores activations.
Before directing D /ARK, Grispini has worked as a consultant to the British Fashion Council (BFC) for sixteen years, looking after the LFW and LFWM International Buyers guest program and setting up designers’ business support initiatives. This led to her role as designers brand development consultant, and curator of the London Show Rooms, from its inception to all of its 40+ editions across Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Sao Paolo.
Over her BFC tenure, Grispini has supported the development of over 150 designers’ businesses, including Christopher Kane, Craig Green, Charles Jeffrey, David Koma, Erdem, JW Anderson, Martine Rose, Mary Katrantzou, Peter Pilotto, Richard Quinn and Simone Rocha, amongst others.
