Bruno Basso and Christopher Brooke, born in Brazil and Nottingham respectively, came together to form their eponymous fashion label after meeting in 2002. Two years later the pair were named winners of the inaugural Fashion Fringe award and immediately caught the attention of Massimo Ferretti, president of Aeffe.

Since 2005, Basso and Brooke have shown collections at London Fashion Week as well as in Moscow, Sao Paulo, Singapore and Shanghai. The designers are renowned for their pioneering use of digital printing in textiles and are the first designers to employ this technique in all of their work. Their work has been featured in the likes of Pop, i-D, Dazed & Confused, Self Service, Vogue Italia and the duo have guest edited .CENT magazine.
