Charles Guislain caught the eye of fashion-editors whilst in his mid-teens. Guislain was subsequently photographed by Nick Knight and Mert & Marcus and has been featured in Love, Italian Vogue and Candy magazine. He was once described by Tim Walker as 'the fashion obsessed Frenchie' when he was only 16 years old. Paris-based Guislain is now focused on photography, rather than fashion. He shoots editorial for French magazine Crash and contributes regularly to Luis Venegas' Candy magazine. Guislain is known for his black and white studio portraits typically shot on medium format cameras. He has photographed Andrej Pejic and Inès de la Fressange amongst others.
