Coco Capitán

Coco Capitán is a Spanish photographer and artist based in London. Capitán graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2016 with a masters degree in fine art with photography. She was awarded the Photographers Gallery FF+WE Prize in 2015 and her 2016 show Enlightened Snobbism was exhibited at the Hotel Café Royal in partnership with the Royal College of Art.

Capitán has produced editorial and commercial collaborations with Gucci, Paco Rabanne and Maison Margiela. Capitán's work has also been featured in magazines including Dazed, Document Journal, the New York Times Magazine and Vogue. She has also recently published a sell-out book entitled If you've seen it all, close your eyes, which presents extracts from a decade of her handwritten notebooks.
