Craig Robinson

Craig Robinson is an illustrator, designer and animator, living and working in Mexico City. Born and brought up in Lincoln, England, Robinson creates his designs on Photoshop, ImageReady, and the iOS application Brushes and is known for his pixelated, computerised aesthetic.

Robinson worked in the music industry in London, before re-locating to Berlin to work for the web design company Defcom. He launched his site Flip Flop Flyin in 1998, showcasing drawings, animations and stories that quickly amassed a cult following, leading Robinson to pursue a freelance career in the computer design and animation business.

Robinson has exhibited internationally, and in 2014 the Coningsby Gallery in London hosted his first solo exhibition. In 2009, he launched Flip Flop Fly Ball, a web site of baseball-themed infographics and artwork. Robinson has also written and illustrated four books: Minipops, Fun Fun Fun, Atlas Schmatlas, and Flip Flop Fly Ball.
