David Weightman

Photographer

David Weightman is a photographer. He was introduced to digital image-making when creating his own interactive family album for the National Portrait Gallery's Assembling the Family exhibition in 1996, and has continued to explore this field in his work, including projects such as Out of the Ordinary for SHOWstudio.

He has exhibited widely and has published in a range of magazines including Crash, i-D, The Fashion and Numero, and has exhibited in To Be Honest, a group show as part of the first Brighton Photo Biennial.

In 2003, David was awarded a scholarship to Fabrica, Benetton's research and communications centre in Italy, and since 2004 he has worked mainly as a documentary wedding photographer in London and the South East.
