Fashion Roundtable is a think tank, facilitating collaboration between politics and fashion. Launched by founder and CEO Tamara Cincik in 2017, Fashion Roundtable addresses inequalities across the fashion industry to effect long-lasting social, business and environmental change.

Democratising sustainability, empowering marginalised and diverse voices and supporting creative talent, Fashion Roundtable collaborate with the U.K government and parliament through All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs). Fashion Roundtable is the secretariat for the only two APPGs which work with the sector. Fashion Roundtable sit on numerous governmental and roundtable discussions and evidence sessions across business, cultural and creative industries policy, while also creating engaging surveys and campaigns to collate data on key policy agendas.

They wrote the only policy paper for the fashion industry on Brexit strategy and after the on-set of the COVID-19 pandemic lobbied for industry workers, promoting the U.K end-to-end procurement of PPE. In 2020, they also lobbied effectively for the Environment Audit Committee to reopen its Fixing Fashion review, proposing environmental solutions for the industry.

Fashion Roundtable are a non-partisan, independent voice, and are founding affiliates to WRAP’s Textile 2030 campaign, ISM’s FreeMoveCreate Campaign, The British Retail Consortium’s Fit To Trade campaign and NSEAD’s STEAM not STEM campaign.
