Having grown up in East London listening to pirate stations like Rinse FM and Deja Vu, Faze Miyake was influenced by the diverse sounds and genres that these radio stations played. With selections as diverse as Grime, Trap, Hip-Hop and wiry electronic funk; this musical eclecticism is represented on Miyake's own Rinse FM show and is also reflected in his own music.
Miyake began releasing music on his own label 'Woofer Music' in 2010, and his breakthrough track ‘Take Off’ was released in 2011. Miyake has recently put out his self-titled debut album, working with artists such as Little Simz, Inga Copeland, Family Tree, Sasha Go Hard and more. The artwork for the album was directed by fashion designer Nasir Mazhar who has had a history of working with Miyake.
As well as working as an Artist, Producer and DJ, Miyake also runs a series of club nights including 'Zig Zag' that is committed to stretching the boundaries of electronic club nights.
