They are credited with being the UKs leading authority on Original Fashion Illustration from the post war to the 1970s. The acclaimed annual exhibition ‘Drawing on Style’ is internationally recognised as a key art event during London Fashion Week; highlighting the most influential and important fashion illustrators of this highly evocative genre.

Gray MCA also sources the rarest and best examples of textiles designed by the Modern British masters working at the forefront of the art world in post war Europe, including Ben Nicholson, Henry Moore, Keith Vaughan and William Scott. With particular emphasis on original textiles from the Ascher Studio & Alistair Morton’s Edinburgh Weavers. Along with the more recognised of the Modern British artists of the period, Gray M.C.A also highlights the finest of the lesser-known modern painters.

Gray M.C.A carefully selects a small number of Contemporary Artists and Sculptors rooted in the finest traditions of Modern painting, textile design and sculpture. Workig closely with interior designers worldwide, either consulting on one key work of art for a specific hanging or in collaboration to source multiple works for a whole project.

A dedicated lecture programme is offered on the historical importance of Modern British painters, textiles and fashion illustration.
