Harris Elliott is a creative director, stylist and designer whose functional and stylish decisions traverse a number of fashion industry functions. Originally training as an interior architecture and design student, Elliott favours shape, form, light and texture. After graduating Elliott put his structural training to one side in favour of all things sartorial to work as a stylist. In the past decade Elliott has contributed to a range of editorial, music, advertising, brands and agency projects. He has also garnered an A-List roster of clients and has worked with some of the world's top photographers and award winning directors.
In 2007, Elliott spent months shopping for a suitable laptop case that was simple, protective and stylish. This frustration prompted Elliott to produce the luggage himself and the leather satchel he developed was received with critical acclaim. He then launch a capsule collection and in 2009 H by Harris was founded on the back of the capsule collection success which were whipped up by Dover Street Market and Browns. H by Harris focuses on providing luxury luggage and accessories and is often crafted from his signature quilted leather.
Along with his successful styling career and luggage label, Elliott has also collaborated with Cedella Marley, Barry Kamen and Droga 5 to work as a creative consultant for Puma’s London Olympic advertising campaign. Elliott was approached to create accessories for the celebrated Jamaican Olympic team for the opening ceremony procession. Elliott's mindset as a creative director and stylist is preoccupied with observing and recreating informed by varied inspiration including James Turrell, Christo and Jean Claude, Daniel Liebskind, Zaha Hadid, Miles Davis, Jay Electronica and George Orwell.
