Jane Williams is the founder and CEO of The Magpie Project, a charity supporting mothers with children under five living in temporary or insecure accommodation. Williams was named one of the Huffington Post’s Influential Women of the Year in 2019 and gave evidence to the UNHCR commission on extreme poverty. In 2018, The Magpie Project was awarded the NETSA New Radicals Award, and in 2019, the London Homelessness Award. The charity has been featured in the Guardian, the Observer and Huffington Post. In 2020, The Magpie Project partnered with designer Bethany Williams.
