Jessica Bird
Illustrator
Jessica is a Scottish fashion illustrator and freelance artist. Bird has a background in fashion design, having studied at Gray's School of Art, and subsequently worked across design, press and sales for multiple British design houses before becoming a full-time illustrator. She has had exhibitions of her work in both Scotland and London.
Bird works with a range of clients, mainly fashion industry based. Her clients stretch across both men's and womenswear, including Johnston's of Elgin, E.Tautz and Fox Brothers and Co. Her international clients include Delpozo, Huishan Zhang, The Rake Magazine and EDITION hotels. In 2018, Blanc Magazine said of her: 'London-based illustrator Jessica Bird is one of Britain’s most visually exciting young artists.'
Bird’s brightly coloured, chalk pastel drawings with confident spontaneous charcoal lines lend themselves well to live illustration - quickly capturing backstage activity and key looks from the runway. She was commissioned by luxury global brand Delpozo to illustrate their first London Fashion Week show following relocation from NYC.
