John Alexander Skelton is a fashion designer. A graduate of London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins, Skelton has been celebrated by i-D as 'one of the brightest, boldest, and most strikingly original talents to come out of London's fashion scene in recent years.'
Skelton has a sustainable design ethos, using recycled fabrics often found in markets, such as antique bed sheets and old grain sacks. He customises these materials through hand-dying, over-washing, painting and patching to create garments inspired by his research into traditional craft, heritage and politics.
