Kai-Isaiah Jamal (they/them) is a spoken word poet, performer, model, consultant and visibility activist, whose work aims to disrupt the literature and fashion sphere with the centring and celebration of marginalised voices and perspectives, specifically trans/queer, black and working class intersections. Working with the likes of Vogue, i-D, Vivienne Westwood and Browns as well as institutions including the Tate, the National Gallery and is named the ICA’s first poet in residence. Jamal also debuted their poem-come-script Snap My Legs and Ask Me to Crip Walk. All the Ways I'm Dancing/Dying For You as part of London DRAF'S take over at Ministry of Sound for London's 2019 Frieze Week. From Valentino to Burberry to Fenty they try to continue to become the mirror they so desperately needed.
