When he was 18, he started a year-long internship with Aitor Throup, then completed a BA in Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins in 2011. His graduate collection was selected to be part of the official press show and he was later chosen as one of the six top graduates by industry website Business of Fashion. He has won numerous design competitions and has collaborated with streetwear giant Stüssy, in addition to being named one of Forbes Europe’s 30 Under 30 in the arts.

In 2016, Kostadinov graduated from the MA Fashion Menswear Design course at Central Saint Martins and, shortly after, was the first menswear student to be awarded British Fashion Council NewGen Men support. His debut collection was presented at London Collections: Men in June 2016. In November of the same year, Kostadinov was appointed by luxury British heritage brand Mackintosh to head up their new designer line, Mackintosh 0001. Kostadinov's first collection for Mackintosh was shown during Paris Fashion Week in January 2017.

For Kostadinov's own-line S/S 17 show, he introduced collaborative shoes between his brand and performance wear specialist ASICS, the start of a continuing partnership.

In 2018, Kostadinov launched a womenswear line, headed up by twin sisters Laura and Deanna Fanning.
