Ku Khanh’s career began by shooting the cover of 20 Ans, the French fashion magazine, in the 1970s. He has shot for British Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Mademoiselle, Marie-Claire, Interview and Playboy as well as several prominent advertising campaigns.

In 1976, along with Woodstock producer Michael Lang, Khanh created France’s first jazz and rock festival Riviera 76. He also contributed to Julian Temple’s 1980 film The Great Rock ‘n’ Roll Swindle.

He has had exhibitions in Paris, Shanghai and New York.
