Laurie Barron is a writer, consultant, curator and gallery professional, and is Gallery Associate at The Artist Room in Soho, London.
Barron completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Kent and the University of Hong Kong, earning a first-class BA in History and Philosophy of Art, later returning to London’s Goldsmiths to pursue an MA in Contemporary Art Theory.
Barron has worked at the distinguished London gallery Alison Jacques, as well as being a frequent contributor to online platforms including Ocula, Art Basel, Elephant and Dateagle Art.
Previously, Barron has worked with artist Tanya Ling; SHOWstudio; Plaster Magazine; Fashion Illustration Gallery; and alongside artists Prem Sahib and George Henry Longly on their charity initiative, XTRADE and non-profit project space, Ridley Road Project Space.
