Maria Echeverri

Fashion Historian

Maria Echeverri is a fashion researcher and historian based in New York City. She received her Masters of Arts degree in Visual Culture: Costume Studies from New York University. In 2012, she co-curated 'Imprint (NYC): The evolution of motifs in fashion', and her original investigation led to the first published history of novelty prints. For the past two years, she has worked as research assistant to designer Adam Selman. She specializes in image and periodical research, and her present investigation examines the relationship between fashion and the senses.
