American artist Mel Odom has been producing award-winning art since the 1970s. His two major interests being drawing and dolls, Odom studied Fashion Illustration and Art and Design at two universities. After being named Illustrator of the Year by Playboy, Odom went on to publish a collection of his work titled Dreamer. His Art Deco style has adorned multiple book covers as well as magazine and album covers. In the early nineties, Odom created a fashion doll named Gene Marshall, and has since concentrated on the doll which has generated thousands of dollars for charity.
