Nicholas Daley

Designer

Nicholas Daley is a menswear designer. Daley graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2013, and his label launched with S/S 15’s Culture Clash, a collection which established the brand identity through nuanced references to British subcultures, past and present. Daley’s aesthetic reflects his own multiracial heritage, with Scottish and Jamaican parents, and also his experience working on Savile Row.

Daley has gained widespread recognition, most notably within Japan with publications such as Eyescream, BrutusGRIND and Popeye and in the UK with Dazed and i-D. Leading stockists are International Gallery Beams, who installed an exhibition of Daley’s work in the Shibuya store in Tokyo, and London's Dover Street Market. In 2019, Daley collaborated with Fred Perry on a capsule collection.

He was one of the eight joint winners of the 2020 LMVH prize, alongside Priya Ahluwalia of Ahluwalia Studio, Charaf Tajer of Casablanca, Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena of Chopova Lowena, Peter Do, Sindiso Khumalo and Supriya Lele.
