Nicole Wermers is an artist living and working between Hamburg and London. Born in 1971 in Emsdetten, Germany, she studied first at the Hochschule fur Bildende Kunst in Hamburg, and went on to complete an MA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design, London, in 1999. Wermers has exhibited widely, particularly across Europe, and participated in year-long residency at Delfina studio, London, in 2004. Her artistic practice encapsulates both sculpture and collage, or a fusion of the two processes in three-dimensional collage.
