Osman Yousefzada is a fashion designer based in London. Yousfezada has made clothes since a young age, inspired by his mother who ran a couture dress making business in Birmingham. A Central Saint Martins graduate, Yousfezada founded his eponymous label, Osman, in 2005. Two years later, Yousfezada was nominated for the annual Designs of the Year 2007 at the Design Museum and his Little Black Dress collection for Mango was met with critical acclaim. Osman Yousfezada is sold internationally with 25 stockists worldwide, including Selfridges, Libery, Harvey Nichols, Saks and Fred Segal in the US and Podium in Russia. Celebrity fans include Thandie Newton, Charlize Theron, Lily Cole, Kate Moss and Alice Dellal. He was featured in Hywel Davies' 2008 book 100 New Fashion Designers.
