Patrick Cox

Fashion Designer

Patrick Cox is a Canadian-British fashion designer. His eponymous footwear label introduced the Wannabe loafer, one of the most iconic shoes of the 90s. He subsequently sold his label in 2007 to Hong Kong-based King Power Group. 

Cox went to university at Cordwainer's Technical College in London, which was later absorbed into London College of Fashion. After a brief stint in the patisserie business, Cox returned to shoe design with Italian shoe giant Geox, a collaboration that proved very successful. In 2015, Cox launched his lifestyle brand Lathbridge at London Collections: Men. 

Cox has been awarded British Accessories Designer of the Year twice (1994 and 1995) and the Fashion Medal of Honor by the Footwear Association of New York in 1996.
