Peju Obasa is a London-based womenswear and accessories designer specialising in knit and crochet. Taking inspiration from her Nigerian roots, Obasa reworks old traditions whilst exploring new dying and knitting techniques. Obasa mines her Nigerian heritage to creates one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate tradition, whether a crocheted bag in biodegradable raffia or a refresh of Tom Dixon’s famed S Chair in chunky silver Econyl.

Peju launched Patternhood in 2020, a sister company conceived during the pandemic after a surge of people wanted to take up new crafting hobbies. Patternhood joins the Make It Yourself community by designing patterns for budding handcrafters to make at home.
