Russell Shaw

Director

Russell Shaw started his career in television in 1992, originally working for a motion control camera company. Following on from this, and after a couple of years as a freelance edit assistant, he secured a position as an online editor, progressing later on to become visual effects supervisor at the post-production facility Rushes.

Having spent 13 years mastering his skills and working across both commercials and pop promos for the likes of George Michael, Paul Weller and Take That, in 2005 he established his own digital post and creative media facility, Nice Biscuits. Nice Biscuits provides production and post production finishing for commercials, idents, promos utilising state-of-the-art grading and visual effects software from Da Vinci and Autodesk.

In 2013, Shaw founded Quite Brilliant, a full service media production company based in London's West End.
