Saint Laurent (formerly known as Yves Saint Laurent) is a luxury fashion house founded by Yves Saint Laurent and his partner, Pierre Bergé, in 1961. The brand has had several designers in the years since including Alber Elbaz, Tom Ford and Stefano Pilati.
In 2012, Hedi Slimane took over as creative director, renaming the house Saint Laurent and continuing its legacy of iconic pieces with a rock and roll twist. Slimane decided to revive the label’s couture branch in 2015. In 2016 Slimane left the house and his position was filled by Anthony Vaccarello.
