Alongside her hair work, Akhuetie also creates objects solely out of hair braids and has even crafted Air Force Ones, bikinis, shrooms, and Louis Vuitton handbags.
Akhuetie is the CEO of braiding salon turned creative hair brand Keash Agency, which she founded in 2014. In October last year, Akhuetie held her first solo exhibition We Need Some More Black In Hair at the Cockatoo in Bethnal Green.
