Walé Adeyemi

Walé Adeyemi MBE is a British-Nigerian fashion designer. Launching his brand Walé Collection in 1998, his signature 'Graffiti Collection' was included in the V&A's 2005 exhibition Moment In British Black Style. In 2012, the designer launched his brand B-side by Walé, which takes inspiration from suburban culture. Adeyemi was made an MBE in 2008.

Adeyemi interned with British designer Joe Casely-Hayford and was formerly the global creative director at New Era. He has spoken at Oxford University, is a Prince's Trust Ambassador, and has styled the likes of Missy Elliott, Beyoncé and Alicia Keys. He has also collaborated and consulted for brands including Adidas, Nokia and Sky TV.
